Newsletters are an excellent means of keeping in touch with your customers and letting them know of recent developments within your company or business. Sadie Scarecrow's Herbal Garden is a true success story. Located in the tiny NC town of Stokesdale (population less than 3500), this handmade soap and herb shop draws customers as far away as Florida, Virginia, Tennessee and South Carolina. Because the store itself is a casual, friendly place, owner Wendy Evensen wanted the same tone for her newsletter. Each issue is a blend of helpful columns and articles featuring products (new and standard) to be found in the shop. With each mailing Evensen's customer base grows--as do her sales.
